What does the extension see?

Privacy is a foundational value at Blinkr. We believe in providing powerful security controls without infringing on your personal browsing habits.

Context-Aware Activation

Unlike traditional corporate proxies or full-browser monitoring tools, the Blinkr extension is context-aware. It remains dormant on most websites and only activates when it detects a domain that is part of your organization's managed vault.

What we monitor
  • Login attempts on Allowed Sites.
  • Injections and masking actions.
  • Policy violations (e.g., blocked downloads).
  • Session heartbeat to maintain auth.
What we NEVER see
  • Personal email or messages.
  • Personal banking or social media.
  • Any site not in your organization's vault.
  • Your physical location or camera/mic.

Local Storage & Session Data

Blinkr stores a minimal session token in your browser's local storage to keep you logged into the extension. We do not cache your plain-text passwords or TOTP secrets on your hard drive.

Data Sharing

We never sell your data to third parties. The activity logs generated by the extension are only visible to your organization's administrators and are used strictly for security auditing and compliance.

Our Privacy Commitment

We design our tools around the principle of Least Privilege. If we don't need access to it to secure your workflow, we don't ask for it.
